La Institución Educativa Vigotsky fue fundada el 5 de octubre de 1999, con el objetivo de brindar oportunidad de educación, a los niños y niñas desde el nivel de preescolar, primaria y bachillerato, también hoy incursionamos en el nivel Técnico, Tecnológico y Profesional debido a las necesidades de educación superior en la región, proporcionando una educación integral y de calidad, articulando el respeto mutuo, sentido de responsabilidad, seriedad, pulcritud, fraternidad, entre otros valores fundamentales, de esta manera estamos formando ciudadanos con horizontes promisorios en las relaciones sociales, de trabajo en las distintas actividades. Basados en el método histórico cultural de Lev Semyonovich Vygotski o Lev Vygotsky. “Educar a un niño es brindar un camino por el cual se pueda valer por sí solo”.
